Player Development Fund FAQs

Anyone 18 or older. If you’re under 18, a parent or legal guardian can contribute on your behalf. Corporate and international contributions are welcome too. We’ll provide invoices on request, and all payments are processed in USD.

It goes straight to developing players in the Diffy Blast program: coaching, content creation, brand development, tech support, and gear. The higher your tier, the more it covers and the longer it lasts.

Right now, VALORANT. More FPS titles are on the way.

No. Each contribution is separate. You’re welcome to contribute again at a higher tier anytime to unlock those perks.

You’ll get an email receipt right away. For Bronze and Silver tiers, your Boost Board (public contributor page) listing goes live within a few hours. For Gold and above, we’ll send a Welcome Guide within one business day and match you to a player within three. Your Development Window (active funding period) always starts on the 1st of a month: if we match you in the first three days of a month, it starts that month’s 1st; otherwise it starts the 1st of the next month. For example, a match on April 10 starts May 1, but a match on April 2 starts April 1, not May 1.

Because that’s the rhythm players actually develop on. Coaching deep-dives, content production, and progress reviews all run on a monthly cycle, so starting your Development Window (active funding period) on the 1st lines your funded time up with a full cycle instead of a partial one. The gap between your contribution and the 1st is just setup time (we match you and prep your Welcome Guide), and it doesn’t eat into the time you paid for.

No. You choose the FPS title, and Diffy matches you with one of our Diffy Blast players — top-tier talent with elite competitive potential. We handle matching so every player gets the support they need at the right time.

We look at three things: how strong they are competitively, how fast they’re improving, and whether they’re ready to commit to a structured development plan. It’s not just about rank — we want players who are coachable, consistent, and serious about growth.

Diffy Blast is our highest level of player support, reserved for standout FPS talent with elite competitive potential. It’s the program your Player Development Fund contribution powers: Blast players get a full development package — coaching, content production, gear, and more — funded directly by contributors like you.

Within three business days of contributing. We’ll email you with your player match and next steps.

We’ll reassign you to a comparable player in the same title within three business days, and extend your Development Window (active funding period) to cover any gap, so nothing’s cut short. Only if we genuinely can’t find a suitable match would we issue a pro-rated refund for the unused portion.

Yes. Each contribution gets its own match. Contribute as many times as you’d like.

It depends on your tier. Gold and Platinum run for 3 months, Diamond for 6, Ruby for 9, and Emerald for 12, always in full calendar months. Bronze and Silver are recognition tiers — you get a Boost Board (public contributor page) listing instead.

Every tier gets you listed on the Boost Board. At Gold and above, you also get a Development Window (your active funding period) with reports, perks, and direct access to your player’s journey. Here’s the short version:

Everything starts once your Development Window (active funding period) begins. Progress Reports, Insider Access, and other recurring perks kick in right away. One-time perks like Custom Highlight Reels, Personalized Thank-You Videos, and your Development Recap arrive on their own schedules during or after your Window. Full details and timing are in your Welcome Guide.

They’re live, moderated 30-minute video calls with your player and their full Diffy support team, including coaches. You’ll get progress updates and can ask questions directly. Sessions are spaced across your Development Window, about one per quarter, so the number scales with your tier: 1 at Platinum, up to 4 at Emerald. We’ll reach out at least two weeks ahead to schedule, and we’ll work with you if the timing doesn’t fit.

It’s a private, moderated Discord channel where you’ll get behind-the-scenes updates during your Development Window (active funding period). Available at Gold and above. It’s not the player’s personal server or DMs — all interaction happens in approved Diffy spaces.

For Gold and above, you’ll get a shared Google Drive folder (view-only) with your reports, highlight reels, and other perks. You’ll also have access to your Insider Access channel (private Discord) for behind-the-scenes updates. You’ll need a Google account to access your folder, and we’ll help you get set up if you don’t have one. We’ll walk you through everything in your Welcome Guide.

Some content will be marked “Shareable.” You’re welcome to share those items by posting the original link. Everything else is for your personal, non-commercial use only and should stay private. Your Welcome Guide covers the full sharing guidelines.

Every player we select for Diffy Blast has already shown serious competitive potential, which is why they’re in the program. Your contribution funds a complete professional support package most young players never get: coaching, content production, brand development, tech support, and gear. Our team tracks progress closely and adjusts the plan along the way. We can’t guarantee specific results, but every player gets the full structure and support to make the most of their shot.

Yes. The Boost Board is the public page listing who’s backing which players. You choose whether to show your display name or “Anonymous,” and you can change your choice anytime by emailing contributors@diffy.gg.

Bronze lasts 6 months. Silver, Gold, and Platinum last 12 months. Diamond, Ruby, and Emerald never expire. You get a spot on the Boost Board (our public contributor page) forever.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay, Cash App Pay, Klarna, and Link. You’ll get an email receipt immediately. Company invoices are available on request.

No. Contributions are non-refundable, since they go straight to funding your player’s development. The only exception is if we can’t deliver at all: if we’re unable to match you with a player, or the program shuts down, we’ll issue a pro-rated refund for the unused portion. If a player leaves mid-window, that’s not a refund situation. We reassign you to a comparable player and extend your Development Window (active funding period) to cover the gap.

Just make a new contribution at whatever tier you’d like. Each contribution is treated separately with its own match, timeline, and perks.

No. Diffy is a for-profit program, so contributions aren’t charitable donations and aren’t tax-deductible.

We use your contact info only to manage your contribution, deliver updates, and grant access. The only thing shown publicly is your Boost Board (public contributor page) listing: your display name (or “Anonymous”), tier, player, and contribution date. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Yes. Email privacy@diffy.gg to request deletion of your personal data. Our Privacy Policy covers what we can delete and the records we’re required to keep. Your Boost Board (public contributor page) listing can be switched to “Anonymous” anytime.

All interaction with players must happen in approved Diffy channels — no exceptions. Private contact with any player is prohibited, including DMs, friend requests, alternative accounts, gifts, money, and any off-platform communication. Recording or screenshotting private sessions is not permitted. For minors, in-person meetings and off-platform contact are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in immediate removal from the program and, where safety is at risk, referral to the appropriate authorities. We protect every player’s personal information from disclosure, and we take extra steps for minors. All voice and video sessions are moderated, with a parent or guardian present. Private contact between contributors and minors isn’t permitted.

No. This is development support, not a sponsorship or investment. Your contribution doesn’t give you ownership, equity, or any financial interest in a player’s career. You’re backing a player’s growth — no strings attached.

Your participation has to comply with applicable laws, and any private updates or materials you receive are for personal use only. The full terms are in the Contributor Participation Agreement, which you’ll review and accept at checkout.

Email safety@diffy.gg immediately. We take every report seriously and may suspend involved parties’ access while we investigate. We’ll notify parents/guardians, platforms, or law enforcement if someone’s safety is at risk or the law requires it.
